Pygmy Lightbulbs
Thanks to ongoing developments in LED lighting technology, expensive and inefficient incandescent bulbs can now be replaced with cheaper, long-lasting LED alternatives. This is also true of more compact light sources like the pygmy bulb.
The LED pygmy bulb has been designed to replace incandescent pygmy bulbs, offering all the benefits that come with LED lighting technology in a smaller space.
LED pygmy bulbs offer the same lighting output at a fraction of the cost. They are rated at 1.7, 2 or 3 watts but have the equivalent output of an incandescent bulb of approximately 15-25 watts. With the overall power consumption cut by up to 90%, the overall energy savings really start to add up in the long term.
Pygmy bulbs are ideally suited to applications with limited space such as fridges, freezers and light strings. They’re also ideal for display/mood lighting and task lighting. LED pygmy bulbs are a great high-efficiency, compact light source with high lumen maintenance and great colour rendering.
