Impex Lighting originally started up back in 1870 in Czechoslovakia although didn't establish themselves as Impex Lighting until 1946. Impex acquired Starlite Chandeliers in 1988 and in 2007 they took ownership of Peter Martin Lamps, Smithbrook Lighting and Russell Electrics.
